Swimming in Tenorio Volcano National Park is prohibited. However, the blue waters of Rio Celeste continue for 14-kilometers, so that means there are sections just as stunning located outside of the park. It is important to note however, that the river does have high levels of Copper Sulfate which are known to irritate skin, so if you choose to swim in the waters of the Celeste, you do so at your own risk.

3. Papagayo Peninsula
